Grace Audio Series 1 – Introduction to Grace : Appx 35 Minutes
The Grace Audio Series is the source material that inspired the Words of Grace eBook. This introductory set of six MP3s provides a solid foundation to approach grace and establish basic prayers and practice.
Each of the following MP3 sets are categorized by Chakra, from Root to Crown then above to the 8th Chakra. Each Chakra set has a dominant Grace provided first, followed by one or more companion Grace or supporting content.
1. A Bit About Grace
Mark introduces the series with a bit about his own experience of grace and the revelation that grace is with us all along. Offering metaphor, grace is defined in ways easy to approach; pointing to potential practice, experience, embodiment of grace. To simplify, we end with suggestions on how to begin through prayer and practice.
2. A Morning Prayer
Starting each morning with prayer opens us to grace gently and consistently. Mark offers an example of his morning practice. The listener is invited to take a few deep breaths, relax, center and surrender the day ahead to the Divine.
3. The Maiden Grace of Humility
Humility is the Maiden Grace, first of the three Gateway Goddesses. Mark offers his insight on Humility and its relationship to the Mother and Crone Graces. We end with a prayer making space for the Grace of Humility to enter, heal and flow through us into the world.
4. The Mother Grace of Hope
The Mother Grace of Hope is the second Gateway Goddess, a golden thread through the labyrinth of life. Mark talks about Hope as vital to the path, essential in our times and a true blessing when shared. We finish with a prayer for the Grace of Hope and a bit about The Divine Mother, healing and alchemy.
5. The Crone Grace of Endurance
The Crone Grace of Endurance is the third Gateway Goddess. She opens us to the strength of the Soul and Spirit, which always endures. Mark talks about Endurance in terms of interior infrastructure to withstand joy, bliss and the presence of the Divine as well as the pain and suffering of the human experience. We end with a prayer for the Grace of Endurance to help us heal and walk the path no matter what arises.
6. An Evening Prayer
Mark closes with an example of his own nightly practice, leading the listener into a meditative state, then into prayer. Surrendering the day past to the Divine, we end with focusing on the breath, with the option to drift off to sleep.
